  • Because It Is Friday

I can´t believe my youth was without Raffaella Carrá. The Pelado told me although she is Italian, Raffaella was as popular here as Madonna or Shakira is today.

  • Sweet

Isa appears to be relishing her postre, dessert that her papá gave to her. Can you believe my mother in law, completely bitched me out when she saw these photos¿ Okkkaaaay?!

  • Purification

A little purification for your mind after yesterdays post. This is the Hare Krishna Centre in Villa Urquiza. It is a little bright spot in an otherwise very pretty yet very restrained posh neighbourhood, at least in this neck of the woods.

  • You Know You´ve Been Living In Buenos Aires A Long Time

It is a tough call, but you know when you have been living in Buenos Aires a long time when:

    a) You start to think hmm....Susana Gimenez no longer scares me, and you know, she actually looks really good.

    b) You start to recognize the culo of the month, not by her face...but by her culo, whenever you see the latest Mens Magazine Cover.

  • ¡Quilombo Warning! Huge Protests Today!
Another day, another protest. It is common here for there to be some sort of protest, sometimes even twice a day. Today might be a little different then your average run of the mill protest. Apparently starting around 4 or 5 this afternoon there will be huge protests descending upon the Congreso, comprising of several separate interest groups (via the Pelado). So if you like this kind of thing, get down there and don´t forget your laptop ;). Otherwise if big noisy protests are not your thing, then perhaps you may want to avoid the downtown area. Rumor has it, former president Eduardo Duhalde has had a hand in organizing the event. Today something feels eerily calm, less traffic out on the street, calm before the storm?
